Given the situation and the expected traffic, the authorities have decided to reopen the A63 to traffic in both directions on the entire section managed by Atlandes, from Salles to Saint Geours de Maremne.
However, the fires have not been brought under control and the risk remains high.
Service areas remain closed.
A new closure cannot be ruled out.
